Description

The 320A-1 Remote Timer 3 wire delay switch is a reliable electronic time delay device for general purpose
automatic time controls. This Elkay Timer is an energy saving device to switch a variety of electrical loads
ON for a pre-selected time selected with 16 available time settings ranging from 2 minutes to 2 hours.
This 320A-1 Remote timer requires a neutral at the switch point to provide energy saving functionality by
timing lighting off to avoid unnecessary power usage.
It is triggered by either an Elkay activator or a momentary switch and is the most cost-effective way of
providing time switch control. It has an advantage that it can be placed in an area where there is no general
public access and where timings cannot be altered. This is useful where the time adjustment is to be
protected from end users making unauthorised timing alterations.

Typical Product usage

This 320A-1 Remote timer is ideal for use in inaccessible areas and is remotely triggered by an Elkay
activator switch or one or multiple parallel connected momentary switches.
The 320A-1 Remote timer is commonly used to control all types of loads from lighting to heating.
Applications for suitable use include lighting, LED lighting, fluorescent and compact fluorescent lighting in
communal residential areas.
It can be used in conjunction with momentary pull cords for room applications and can sit side by side with
this type of control switch.
It fits easily into a British Standard back box of 25mm depth.
